Question xe 224/230 question

hey everybody i want to do a cam but im new to whole cam thing. . .whats everything i need for a cam install..i need to know so i can figure out what money goes to what . . thanks alot guys!!

a search will be your best option, this is asked weekly. not much is needed, obviously gaskets, and the rest depends on what you want to eplace, some buy everything ,others like me reuse as much as possible. You'll need new valve springs, timing chain would be nice, lifters and pushrods can be reused

well I got everything I needed as far aas parts from www.cmotorsports.com ...I did the 224/230 xe 112lsa. it costed 658.00 shipped...this included: Cam.roller rockers(pro mag self aligning),hardened push rods new timing chain, valve springs, retainers and locks, then another 100-150 for gaskets and fluids..pm me if u want me to give you my name and stuff so u can just have them give you the same stuff

250 camshaft, 90 for springs, 60 for retainers, 40 for locks, 100 for chromoly pushrods, $50 in gaskets, 20 in misc. You don't really need the rockers, but worth the investment.
