xe 224/230 and lift number question

I'm looking at the xe 224/230 cam from combination motorsports. the three options I'm looking at have different lift numbers at: .536/.544, .560/.598, and .605/.622 all with 1.6 rr's. I have stock heads right now but they will be ported soon, I have long tubes and true dual exhaust with intake and all free mods, I will also get tuning when I get the cam in. I don't really care about gas mileage or driveability, it will mostly be a weekend driver. all I want is the most power, so which will give me that and what are the differences that I would see with those different numbers. thanks in advance.

i'm going with the 605/.622 myself-

make sure your valve train is up for the abuse though.

I went all out with strong pushrods, comp R's, crazy springs, titanium retainers, and good valves...

i'd recommend the one thats in the middle lift wise. and the only reason is that it'll take heavy *** springs and comp r's to run the high lift one. the main diff here will be that as lift increases for a given duration the "area under the curve" will increase and give you more power with the same idle characteristics and drivability. since it wont be an all out racer and you probably wont gain a worth while for cost amount of power from the really high lift version and it'll kill valve springs just go with the midle one that seems to be where peoples ported stockers are peaking around anyhow. but if you've got the cash the 605/622 will make the most power provided the heads are still flowing up there.
