Cool XE 224/230 and CMotorsports Stage II heads ... dyno results

366.8 rwhp
351.5 rwtq

The dyno sheet

My setup, in a nutshell:

Combination Motorsports Stage II heads
Comp XE 224/230 cam (.536"/.544") 112 LSA
Hooker LT's, Mufflex Y, Hooker catback
GMPP CAI, trickflow elbow, 52mm TB
T56, Stock 10-bolt with 3.73's

Torque was a couple ft-lbs lower than I expected but other than that I'm pretty satisfied

Fuel system is stock from pump to injectors.

Good numbers. I have the same cam but on a 114LSA and did 362hp with Lloyd's big valve heads.

You might want to check your injector pulsewidth though, unless you've jacked up the pressure. I was running stock fuel system with SVO 24 lb injectors and hitting like 99% duty cycle at 6000 rpms. I upgraded to 30's and I have plenty of injector left to grow into

That seems kinda low to me, but maybe it's just me. As long as you're happy with them.

Good numbers. I'm running the same cam with different heads, and made 375/363 with about the same powerband your graph shows.

How was your A/F graph, if you did it?

Yea, I'd upgrade to some 30lb injectors. Those injectors are pretty much maxed out if they aren't already.

Good numbers though!

How do you find out the duty cycle of injectors? I'm using 24lb svo's and I've tried to use the scanmaster but the numbers don't add up right. That dyno graph looks just like mine except mine peaks at 5700 rpm. Nice numbers, though I thought that cam would net a little more than mine. You should check the duty cycle of your injectors to make sure they aren't holding you back. I don't even know if mine are.

So you guys think we may need new injectors? If so, I will get some before I dyno my car after the heads.
