WTF!! o2 sims problem

WTF!! o2 sims problem

i was getting a code for low activity, bank one sensor 2. so today i finialy got around to swappin out the drivers side sim for the passenger side sim. went to clear the code and i had 2 codes, no activity for both. cleared them and they came back on with 8 miles or so. are they dead? any ideas?

I think when you get a code that says no activity that means you have bad o2 sensors. I had the same problem until i bought some new o2 sensors and all the codes went away.

anyone know what the light is for? when i turned the car on to acc. they were both blinking red

i called casper electronics, and the said if the red light is blinking the are both workin. what else could it be?this is never ending with this damn car

I am having the same problem with the sims on my 96 gmc truck. I have'nt had time to switch them but I lost side two bank two. Let me know what you find out.

Try cleaning contacts, they may be corroded. Are all fuses ok? No burn wires from sims to PCM? Check PCM harness. You can use a PCM pinout and check voltage on corresponding pins, but as it quickly changes it will only give you idea of good connection. Like i said before its probably the SENSORS NOT THE SIMS.
