WTF?? Have to drop the rack and pinion to install long tubes?

I wasn,t even nice enough to use the rubber mallet.
I was so POed by this point in the install I covered it with a towel and got my 3 pound BFH out and beat it in.
Try the rubber mallet first though.

ok, next goddamn problem... the header sits to tight to the bottom of the car. My collector won't even come close to bolting on. It hits the Trans cross member. Who designed these ****ing things anyway? Am I going to have to drop to a 2.5" reducer or what? I wanted 3" from the collector right on through... Even bought dynomax 3" bullets... So now I am going to have to get 3" to 2.5" collector reducers, run a foot of 2.5" pipe to clear the crossmember assuming that will be small enough diameter and then buy a coupler to enlarge back from 2.5 to 3 inch so I can use my mufflers?

Does Jet-Hot expect me to give them a good referral on these things when people ask?

Wish I could help ya there but I ran Header mufflers right off my collectors, mine are awful close to my Double Diamond subframes though.
Don,t know how its gonna work yet, puttin the tranny in this afternoon.
Maybe a custom Y pipe?

no Y pipe for me...true duals.

Pass side header is bolted up and looks like it has plenty of clearance. It's just driver's side. I HOPE 2.5" collecters will fit...

Bend those biotches..... Do anything... But why waste a .5 inch of diameter. There has to be another way... Ask around, someone has to know.
