Is there an online write up of removing the air and egr components on a lt1 4th gen? I really am not even sure where to start, reason I want to remove is because 1. I want to clean up my engine bay. 2. I am getting headers sometime in the next year and will be going with off road setup so might as well be prepared. 3. Im getting programming soon so might as well have it programmed off now. 4. I wanna get rid of the clutter in engine bay so its easier to work on, and so I dont get as confused with all the stuff going everywhere

So, can anyone help me? thanks in advance for any help

to delete AIR you need (2) M22 X 1.5 drain plugs and matching copper gaskets, available at most auto parts stores, and a sawzall. An Impact really helps too.
i have done it without destroying the pipes but not with the engine in the car. First remove the air pump. then chop off the pipe going into the headers right above the nut. using an Impact the nuts come out easily. any other way they are tough. I had to cut the middle section of pipe in 2 places to get it out. Finally after unbolting it from the back of the compressor bracket, it came out the bottom. to do !EGR you need the GM egr blockoff plate and gasket. I removed all the piping and made my own blockoff plates but i think some people leave them.
