Im building a 383 with a good amount of nitrous. 200-225 shot.

Ive got a set of arp head bolts i used for about 200 miles till my goddamn head gasket leaked and destroyed my ****ing motor

Should I buy studs or reuse these bolts?

I'd never use bolts on a performance build. Go with studs.

sick car mindgame.

What cam would you guys go with on a mostly n/a application, but running the nitrous ocassionally later on? I would probably only run the huge shots every once in awhile. Probably be doing a 150 shot or so for street racing.

right now i have a 230/236/112 .544/.555

heads flow

.100 64.2 47.8
.200 132.8 92.3
.300 188.6 134.5
.400 237.7 160.0
.500 267.1 179.1
.550 277.8 186.9
.600 279.0 191.7

springs bind at .600 lift.

thanks guys. please stick to off the shelf lobes if possible as i cant afford a custom, and i need it asap. i was thinking a 230/242/? .544/.578

What LSA should I go for to get a nice lope but not lose too much precious n2o?

Follow this link, http://www.cmotorsports.com/lt1customcamshafts.htm

Comp Cams 230XH Camshaft, 230/242 duration @ .050", .510"/.540" lift with 1.5 rockers, .544"/.576" lift with 1.5 rockers. Aggressive blower/nitrous cam for high horsepower apps
That should actually read .544"/.576" lift with 1.6 rockers.

That cam is also ground on a 114* lsa. That's the one I'd use for a nitrous motor.
