Would it be worth it for me to switch to the R lifters?

so basically you are using the poly lock to turn the nut right?

No, just the opposite. I lightly tighten down the poly lock and then I turn the nut a little more after that. This in turn REALLY jams it place.... it will not come loose!

Gotcha. So what should be do to the lifters before we put them in the motor? soak in oil? i think comp reccomends that. then we are gonna set the lash right there.

then transport the motor back to my place put it on the kmember and get it set in place.

ttt, need more opinions on the longetivity of the R lifters and proper install/breakin

Yep, it's good to let them sit in oil until you're ready to install them.

Sounds like you're ready to install them, they should last a long while (provided there are no factory defects), there is no break in required.
