would old plug wires cause a rich condition

my car feels like it has more potential with my mods and seems to be running really rich. Would old wires do this? The plugs are new. I just havent had time to do the wires yet. Even though i just installed headers and rr's. I shoulda done it then. What do ya think? Also, how much would i possibly net from getting my car dyno tuned? Im going this weekend.

Edit: Also, when i did the headers the pacesetters didnt come with the egr fitting so i just put a rubber stopper in there temporarly. COuld that cause problems?

"Old wires" can cause misfires, and misfires can cause the O2 sensors to see a "false" lean condition, and add fuel the engine doesn't need, causing it to run rich. An exhaust leak before the O2 sensors can do the same thing. You can identify this condition with a scan, noting the BLM's.

I have the same thing going on. I can see random visible arcing at night on side...that side is showing a BLM of 130 while the other side is 128. Plan on new wires very soon.
