Question Would I see 11 sec timeslips with this combo?

Would a 224/236 112lsa cam, with longtubes, borla and a 150hp shot of nitrous turn an eleven second timeslip?

Is anyone running the 224/236 cam with a 100-150 shot? I did a search over in the nitrous forum, but had no luck. What kind of results would I see?

With traction, you should see 11's no problem. Traction will be your biggest hurdle.

I'm running a 230/236 with 4.10's and a 150 shot and hoping for 11's in much heavier car. So I think you should have no problem.

traction is taken care of. Sticky tires and control arms, brackets, panhard bar and shocks. Stock bottom end. My car weighs in around 3300lbs.

Are 11's going to be a problem with this combo?

I agree you should 11's with that combo. The bigger question is how long will the 10 bolt last....or the bottom half of the engine. Probably not very long....

Im confused.......i thought that the lt1 bottom end was capable of withstanding 125 shots? Is that not the case in most instances? Just curious-toying with puttin the same shot on my 383 (cast eagle crank, KB pistons, reconditioned rods..)

A stock LT1 can handle 125 shots but he's already at 300rwhp plus that pretty big cam and a 125 shot....he's looking at probably 460 rwhp or so. Figure 300 plus 40 extra for the cam, springs, rockers, ect and 125 for a good wet kit......boom!!!

You should be able to run 11s with just the 150-shot.

Dirk (RacinLT1) runs low 11s on a full bolt-on w/ a 175 wet shot.

Traction is key.

With a 3300lb raceweight I would be shooting for low 11s, but you're gonna need traction and that means you're gonna need a slick and that means you'll need a 9inch or 12 bolt. Good luck

11.0's @ 124 MPH, to be exact. But, I wouldn't say "full bolt-on". He's only got 1.6 rockers and a set of longtubes He's shooting for 10's on Nov. 1st...With a 200 shot I just hope he had someone build him a really strong 4L60E...Oh, Wait...That was me...LOL

As far as the original post question. I'm running 12.2 with no nitrous (yet). Through the exhaust, full weight, and stock suspension. Hmm...I'm wondering where my 150 shot of progressive controlled NX will put me?

I would be using the motor most of the time without the spray. Im glad to hear 11's wouldnt be that much of a problem with the spray though.

Thanks for the thoughts, guys.

Buddy of mine in a 94 TA went 12.04 @ 114 with only a CAI, cutout, and NX 150 shot. He's got an A4 with 3.23's and was on BFG DR's. He started spraying about 30 feet out. So with the mods you plan you shouldn't have a problem running 11.xx.
