WOT problem

In A4 camaro, when I go WOT, the rpms go up about 1000, then it downshifts, and they go up a little more, then it goes wot. If I floor it, it takes almost 2 seconds for the car to completely downshift, and go. It seems like it stays in gear for a little bit, and tries to go in same gear usually around 15-60 mph. I just had my shiftpoints changed w/ a hypertech or somethin(I didnt do it). Could that have something to do with it, or maybe knock, or possibly tranny problems. Im getting pcmforless soon, and will delete the knock sensor. Any suggestions as to what it is?

I would bet the transmission is messed up and maybe its the shift adjustments that did it if your lucky. I think you need the programer to delete the changes.

Yes you will need the programer to take the tune back out. You will need the exact programmer that did the tune too. IIRC

Problem is that im not sure thats what it was. I had the guy that did my install (gears, posi) tune it, and he didnt say specifically what he tuned it with. He just said the only things he tuned were shiftpoints, and speedo. Tranny seems to shift fine, which makes me think its computer related. The guy who tuned it has a 10 second NA impala, so I dont think that he would use that, but he did say I still needed to get my comp. tuned

I would get the hypertech tune taken out and then see what happends. If that still doesnt work then i would have the tranny looked at. Good luck
