The freeze plug is used in place of the waterpump driveshaft, so coolant doesn't go everywhere out the back of the pump housing.

There's four ears you have to grind down on, on the housing. Not hard at all using a drill. You'll also have to get an 1LE intake elbow. You'll never know really how long each one will last, some pumps last a really long time and others don't.

And, order from Dal.

Do you know the prices from 1LE elbow, Unvented Opti, and possibly a Stock Water Pump from Dal? How do they compare to Jason Cromer. I'd be picking up the Items from Dal, only 30min away.

I have to hunt down the prices on those Electric pumps, anyone have some recommendations? Summit is on the way to Akron...

The elbow is around $50 and the opti will cost like $300 (around there) from Dal.

Damn, you're far away from me if Akron is a 30min. drive for you.

How come all the 1LE elbow pictures have the little thing that hangs down.........not the whole silenser, but the little tab that the silencer hooks too......is this how they are?
