If you have the ARP head studs as listed above, then you can reuse them iwthout issue. Just be sure there is no water in the holes when you go to reinstall them (hydrolock=cracked block). If there is water, use compressed air to blow 'em dry.

Looking like the motor has to come out again. With the way the headers sit I can't get the bottom row of headstuds off, and to get the headers out I'll have to undo the motor mounts and raise the motor up. The poly mounts put up a pretty good fight with the motor out of the car on the K-member, so I'm not even going to try take those loose and re-install them in the car.
I am really sick and tired of fighting with this car and sinking money into it. At this point I'm willing to sell it as it sits for whatever my balance is on the credit card I put the mods on. I have made a couple of payments on the mods, so it's not a really really low balance, but I did get a good deal on the parts, so basically you'd be paying less for the mods than I did, and you'd be getting those mods plus the car. If anyone is serious about this, PM me.

Easy there killer you're just pissed. Trust me I've been there.
Do the motor mounts still use the through bolt (One half connects to kmember, other half to the block, connected with the through bolt)? If so then here is all you have to do, piece of wood under the oilpan and start jacking the motor (after you have already taken the nut off one end of the through bolt. Find a good position where you can try and pull the bolt out and still be able to work the jack at the same time (having a friend helps). There is a certain area where the bolt will slide right out with ease.
Trust me I did three headgasket changes back to back to back on my car all while working 40 hours a week. I know the meaning of sick and tired. haha
If you still wanna sell it shoot me a PM with what you would want out of it.
If you weren't so far away you could bring it up to my garage and I'd do the labor for you.

Walk away from the car for a few days and watch a butt-load of F-body racing vids; your dedication will be renewed! This is the nature of the modification beast; I also completely empithize with you my friend. Because of several deployments to the middle east (Air Froce), my car has been down for a year and a half.
Re: Woohoo! 355 started and ran today! (possible video later on)
Motor is out again, I made another thread with some pictures of it. Took the passenger side head to the machine shop today and they found a small hole about the size of a pinhead in the exhaust bowl/runner area that opened up to a water passage. The head is getting welded up sometime next week. I have decided to buy an LT1 carb manifold and break the motor in on their engine stand at the shop. I'm going to break it in, and then beat the s*** out of it as much as I can there to make sure it's ok before it goes back in the car.

So I don't have to try and piece together a fuel injection harness, wire up the PCM and all that other horses*** with it out of the car. Just to run it in on the stand- carb, distributor, done. Since the car already ran once I know the engine control side of it is in order.
