Okay, I have to redo some wiring in my wiring harness. Some of the wires were burnt up and cut up during an accident. What type of wire is used in our cars? Check out these links and let me know if you can tell me what we have?

use the SXL if it is under the hood, use the SXL , GXL or GPT inside the car, usally, the wire found at most auto parts stores is comparable to GPT

What guage are the small wires in the harness? Does anyone know for sure?

18 guage?
20?
16?

I realize that there are several different sizes, but what are the smallest ones? Or how can I figure it out?

I think the smallest wires in the dash harness are 20 guage, and the smallest under the hood are 18
