wires and pullys?
I assume your talking about the spark plug wires rubbing on the pully? What pulley is it rubbing on? The power steering pump? The wires are supposed to run behind it not in front of it. If you want the wires to run in the stock position you need to loosen the power steeering pump and get them behind it.
Dude...how long have you had this car????? Did you buy someones problem?
I always see you on here man. You've been a member for 2 months and got 600+ posts. DANG!!!!!

yea i did, but i just solved it with those wires, for 30 miles it was drivng so well, then i can hear the pully catching it now while the car is idling, so im gonna buy some better quality ones and redo it
Edit: yea im pretty sure it was the power steering, it is behind but the place where it changes direction is about 1/4 inch away from the pully and it just makes me worried

i thought about tapeing them all together, is that a good idea?
i wanted to put electrical tape around them until the first spark plug wire leaves the loop, cause it makes me nervious
Edit: I started on this forum the day after i got my car, i wanted to start doin stuff... but i started simple by doing the oil and what not... and u guys are slowly turning me into a mechanic lol

Get Zip ties and put them on there. I have mine Ziptied in about 2 places. ANd if you want a way to stop your wires from getting burned and caught up 100% get Taylor(or some other kind) over the valve cover wire looms.
Go to www.thunderracing.com and check them out. One of the best mods for this car. Others will agree with me.

When in doubt, always check Shoebox's Tech Pages first.

In that pic, look on the driver side...see two silver "U" shaped things? What it does is bolt under the 4 valve cover bolts...and so when you run the wires, you run them UP, hook them into the "U"'s and then run them to your optispark above your headers.

The order of wires on both sides of the opti can be found here courtesy of Shoebox. I also highly recommend the OVC looms, I like the setup a lot but kind of wish I did the side mount. What I did for running the wires behind the PS pump was put convulted tubing around the wires all the way up even behind the alternator to keep the wires from contacting metal and each other. Not a single problem since I put on my LTs in June.
