Wires burnt by headers??
Wires burnt by headers??
I have been dicking with my car for a while now and haven't been able to get it running. It ran good until one day it blew an ignition fuse. I went a head and replaced the opti and the fuse and it fired up, but it ran horrible. I shut it down and it hasn't started since. It is getting fuel and spark, just won't start. I just got done looking at it and noticed that the silver wrapped wiring bundle that runs along the headers, was burnt through a little bit. The only damage I saw was that two of the 02 sensor wires were stuck together and the other wires had some white-ish powder on them. Could that have caused my car to blow that fuse, and cause it to not be starting now??? I just figured it was the 02 sensor wires and really shouldn't cause it to not run. Is this true??
Thanks,
Benji
