No real tips, I just ran my passengers side behind the power steering pump instead of the stock location.

You may have to loosen the power steering pump to route the wires behind it. Some have to, some don't.

I just drop the damn Y-pipe, saves my arms some torture. It becomes very easy then...

But if you have the stock exhaust, you have to be carful because you might break some bolts on the Y-pipe.

just did my plug/wires a few weeks ago, and i was lookin into taking off the ypipe, but was worried about the bolts breakiing.

then someone told me to remove the passenger motor mount bolt and jack the motor up 2 inches. i did that, 15mm bolt on the front (i beleive) and 18mm on the rear. used an open end wrench on the back nut (18mm).
i also removed the alternator. i was able to do all the passenger plugs and wires form the top, in about 2 hours, which includes plugs and routing the wires...

with the motor jacked up it's cake, you barely have to contort your arm

since yours is a 97 like mine, all you have to do is drop the y-pipe about 4" and push it to the side and just have to worry that you dont break the 02 sensors. Also watch out for the temp sensor on the drivers side ( i broke mine doing the plugs last weekend)

remove the alternator and tensioner and its pretty easy from there.
