Car has been down since turkey day and is finally up and running perect!! Installed 306 cam, 1.6 CC SA rockers,cloyes double roller,combomotorsports double springs, mac 95 style headers(coated), off-road pipe,cc hardened pr's,CSI w/p, !EGR, !AIR, !CPS(all done by pcmforless) and a shift light . Car started right up and ran perect last week for one day, then opti went , got new one saturday, like a jack a$$ I installed it wrong, dowel pin wasnt in the hole. Took it apart today and lined opti back up and car started right up and runs perect!! I burnt up my MSD box trying to diagnose ign. probs so I'm running factory(autozone special) spark now and it still pulls hard to 65k This things is hitting one mean a$$ lick out the back, sounds insane . I'm running stock heads still, never off the car. It really starts to pull bout 4k big time, kinda feels like say a 50 shot or so, maybe more. All work was done by myself in a small a$$ garage with hand tools, its not that big of a deal to do this long as u got the right tools. Everyone thinking bout doing dont be scared to tackle it, I cant imagine how much dough I saved. Big thanks to Shoebox and everyone else who chimed in and helped, there is no way I could have done this without this board. Plan on taking it to the track maybe Fri. try some N/A runs. Cant spray till I get my MSD box fixed , anyone know if they have an internal fuse or are they not "user" friendly? Thanks a bunch, Chris
