try turning wipers off , then taken the arms off and putting them back on a lower spline, worked on on my truck but never had the z's arms off yet to see if there is a main spline that would not aloww u to do this

If the problem occured by itself and was not the result of "moving" the wiper arms then try this.

Get to the wiper switch so you can disconnect it. With the KOEO, unplug the wiper switch. If they park then, the problem is the switch. If it doesn't work then, with the connector off measure the voltage at pin E (looking at the pin end of the connector, it's second from the right and has a drk green wire on it) If it's less than 1 volt, replace the cover assy on the wiper motor. If voltage is over 1 volt, connect the switch back up and pull the connector off the wiper motor. Now check pin D (upper right pin when looking at the pin end of the connector with the latch at the bottom) I think it has a drk green wire on it but not sure. If this pin is over 1 volt, it is shorted to battery voltage somewhere. If it is less than 1 volt, the motor cover assy needs to be replaced.

Hope this helps

Dave

Happend to me a couple of years ago. It's called a "cover kit." It controlls just what you are talking about. Here's the information off of my old receipt:

FP Number: 12367295
Discription: Cover Kit 10.150
Unit Price: $86.00

I don't know how difficult it is to install 'cause I had them do it for me.

Good luck.

Hey Slopokrodrigez,

Just noticed your Sig; that you have a 94 Z, and your wife drives a 01 Durango.

I drive a 94 Z, and my wife drives a 03 Durango!

Just thought that was kinda funny.

I guess you got the better engine. Hers is the 4.7 and although it's better for pick-up then the minvan we had before, it's still a little anemic. But these days of high gas prices, she passes everything on the road except the gas pump.
