Window smashed in

The passenger side window in my car got smashed in and I was wondering what an average cost to replace it was if I had a shop do it or do yall think it would be worth it to do it myself.

If you'v never done it before, your better off take it to a shop, plus you'll prolly need a few special tools, just for comparision I got my driver side done for 150$.

Well, like the other guy said, you might be able to do it by yourself. But $150 sounds fair for a new window and install.

I live in Hawaii and paid 300.00 The glass itself was over 300 at the dealer. They have some serious price gauging here in Hawaii... for instance to replace the front disc pads they want 150.00

I would say if they charge you 150.00 is fair... if you shop around you may find cheaper but then you get what you pay for... I had one done for a Ford and paid 50.00 dollars but the job was crappy. (california).

I had my car broken it to, passenger side window smashed.

$70 for a window from Billy Graham.

Did it myself, never done it before. It's pretty easy. You need to drill out the rivets holding the window to the channel, and then use a nut/bolt set to hold it on. Works like a champ. Took me about 2 hours total taking my time.

Just a drill and bits to drill out the rivets, and basic hand tools to bolt the new window on.
