Window Problems? Need help

Hi all...

Got a bit of a problem with my driver's window. It works fine 99% of the time, but if I put the window all the way down, it won't come back up. I changed out the window motor, and the same thing kept happening. I've been just not lowering my window all the way until I could find out the problem, but tonight I accidently put it all the way down and it stuck.... I had to take off the door panel, then un-attach the motor from the scissor gears or whatever, move the window up, and reset the motor. Now the window doesn't move at all. It does make like a click noise when I hit the button though. (Auto windows, by the way).

If anyone knows what the problem might be (and hopefully how to fix it) I'd really appreciate the advice. It sure wasn't fun doing all this at midnight in the parking lot of an apartment complex without a flashlight.... lol

Thanks in advance,

John

I had a similar problem. You need to clean the old grease and grime from the regulator tracks and rollers and put in some nice new lithium grease. Everything will work smooth after that. I heard you can buy the motor already mounted on a new regulator for only a little more money. I would recommend that for anybody in the future.
