SORRY TO Hear the O2 swap didnt work.....Keep us posted as to what solves your problem.

i had a similiar problem, car would heat up and idle would be $hitty and it felt like major cam surge, died a couple times. I solved it by doing two things, cleaned the maf with alcohol swabbs, and installed a 160 stat to keep it in lower operating temps. reprogram the fan temps as well and see if it helps. t-stat is only 20 bucks. worth a try. -MIchael

 

hmm... Mine was doing that, my problem was the IAT, it would cut out and hesitate.. one of my wires were split... It never crossed my mind that a little thing like that could do it. if not that, maybe your coil wire. might be leaning on the water pump.. which would explain it not starting, but if you replced the ICM im sure you check the wire. Do any lights come on when this happens?

 

Also, knock will go up the longer it runs. Starts out at 0.0 on a cold start-up, but will slowly get up to 5-6 while driving.

 

Just filling you guys in. Was the elec. harness on the Opti. But, I guess I have a completely new ignition from head to toe now.
