Will a PCM work with minimal inputs?

This sounds weird but I am trying to get a mopar PCM to work in my Camaro in addition obviously to my stock OBD2. My question is if I supply the mopar PCM with some inputs such as power/ground and whatever else I can, will it possibly work? What im trying to do is allow this factory Chrysler navigation unit I installed in my car to get the required info such as VSS through the single wire PCI bus. This is mopar specifid and attaching my cars VSS wire to the bus wire going into the navi unit wont work. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
JT
