I came home from work today to do a little more work on my head swap. and noticed that there was a little water in the lifter valley (small puddles next to the lifters) so I took rags and got the water out and then took oil and smeared it all over the valley. I'm pretty sure I Caught it early since it rained yesterday. I'm just wondering if it's alright, I'll drain the oil prior to start up and put new oil in

 

you'll be fine as long as the water is dried up
