Will an lt1 fit in my 2000 camaro

I found an lt1 motor with tranny everything i need to do a swap but i know i have only seen that engine as fas up as 97 so i was just makin sure if it would fit in my 2000 camaro?????

You'll need the 93-97 V8 K-member. Probably a good idea to upgrade the front springs for the added weight. You'll need an LT1 PCM and corresponding wiring harness. If you don't have a limited slip rear, you'll want to get one from a V8 model.

It comes with the harness the pcm not to sure of. and i was planning on upgrading suspension. my only problem is that i will spend money on the motor and get screwed wit somethin that doesnt even work. is there any way of testing it without it being in the vehicle?

This is what it takes, including a working PCM, coolant supply system and fuel supply/return system, to get an LT1 to run outside the vehicle:

dam..... now if i buy the engine put it in my car and it doesnt start am i f***ed or would i be able to rebuild easily? and around how much would it cost ?
