Will LS6 springs work on LT1 head without mods?

Wondering if anyone knows if the stock LS6 GM springs ( $65 for complete set) will work on the LT1 heads without any clearancing. Also would the stock seat cups, retainers and clips be compatible?
Thanks, Michael.

No, LS6s have metric sized valves so you wouldn't be able to use the retainers and locks for sure. You could use LS6 springs if you used the same seats, retainers, and locks that comp cams makes to install the 26918s on LT1s...but at that point you'll have enough money invested in parts that you might as well spend a few extra bucks to have the 26918s over the LS6s anyways...
