Will the Comp cams rev kit work on an LT1?

Will this kit work on a LT1 motor? What, if any, difference is there between this kit and the AFR one?

Here is a link to the product on comp cams website: http://www.compcams.com/Technical/Cu...g/HTML/321.asp

The only real difference between your standard rev-kit is in the type of lifter they're made to support. There's a kit for factory type lifters and there are kits for the Speed-Pro type lifter as well as others. So, not to cop out on you or anything, but you need to call Comp to make sure. The pic they show on their website is not the right one for factory-type lifters... but that don't measn much, so call and make sure.

I plan on giving them a call on Tuesday and seeing what they say. I was checking out the summit website and saw this kit listed as $109 for a SBC. Since the AFR kit is in the $300 range (and out of my price range) this kit caught my eye.

So I guess my next question is what size "tappet" do the stock LT1 lifters have.I would assume if they are the same as regualr SBC hydraulic lifters. I'm no expert on lifters and such and to be honest this is the first time I have even heard of a "lifter tappet"...

I'll post back once I hear from them incase anyone else is intested in this kit.

Why not just get the AFR "Hydra-Rev" that's made for the LT1? Mine went in pretty easy. I think I only paid a little less than $200 for mine.
