Will any lt1 fit my car without modification?

I was thinking about buying a used lt1, and drop into my camaro while I build my stroker, If I bought a complete motor from a caprice or impala would I get the same power as the Lt1 in my camaro? or would I have to get a Lt1 out of a camaro?

Anyone one will work. The iron headed LT1s will just be heavier. They run a bit less compression and the their stock tune runs fine on 87 octane. Theyre rated at only 260hp.. you probably wont be able to tell much of a difference, plus if its just a temporary swap you will probalby enjoy having something almost as fun that runs on cheaper gas.

No the cams are different and the iron heads you are in a big hurry to swap out flow MORE than your stockers. The cam is meant for the heavier b-body most of which are 4100+without a driver, make a little more torque at a lower rpm, do not mistake it for "detuned" it is a pretty damn good match to the stock drivetrain in a b-body.
The bottomends and intake are 100% identical to the f-body motor.
