Hey Man,
I wish I could answer that question.
But I have a Superchips Power Programmer that will be going up for sell as soon as I get my pcm from Madwolf.
It does the exact same thing as the Hypertech and It IS for a '96 Camaro LT1 6M. Even though when you turn it on, it says "Auto"

I can say yes because I have used my old one in a buddies 96 with no problems at all. I think you can also check the Hypertech website.

Yes I have one for sale. On the box it says 96-97 fbody.
