will 93 V6 springs work on 97

Wondering if there was anything i should know about it if it wouldn't work. Looking to put V6 spring on in the rear and maybe up front, if i don't go with qa1's

Debating on spending the money on qa1, or should i try the v6 springs first.

They should work fine. I am running them in the rear now. Just be sure they are early (93-97) springs. Shoebox gave me a few part numbers. Later V6 springs are the same as the V8 models.

I wouldn't think they would work in the front since their is such a weight difference in the 2 engines. The rear I would think would be ok.

Oh, you are going to have to run some sort of spring in the rear because QA1s (as far as I know) do not make a rear spring. I'd go with the V6 spring and QA1 shock.

i think i will go with the qa1 shocks and springs for the front, since it seems like the qa1 shocks will only work with their springs. But for the rear i will be using the V6

As far as the front, that is the idea for the weight difference in the springs. Since the V6 weighs less the spring rate is lower and would allow more travel of the front end.

The stock spring seats can be modified to install Eibach or other springs on the HAL/QA1 shocks. Thunder Racing sells them already modified. I did my own, Shoebox has a picture of his on his Tech Info website.
