I thought that i read somewere that the OBD2 PCM in the 96 impala could read the 3.5" MAF from a fbody, Does any one know if this is correct?

the maf tables are different in the pcm. not sure how much it will effect it though.

 

A OBD1 pcm can read it, either(obd1 or OBD2) needs to be reprogrammed for it though. Year for year the b-bodies use the same part number pcm as the f-bodies even the 4.3L V8 b-bodies use the same pcms as the LT1 f-bodies.
