I will take issue with your comment that "all the people who know anything on this board have left the lt1 tech part of this board". I know almost all of the people who have LT1's and post here on Advanced Tech also post on LT1 Tech, unless you consider us intellectually bankrupt too.

Moving to LT1 Tech......

 

Mike Blackstone used 2.05/1.60 valves in his latest attack on my LT1 heads. He replaced the seat inserts to give the larger valves a larger hole to fill. Pix on my para.noid web site, 1khp buildup page. Using these valves without the larger seats just results in shrouding - the seat would be nowhere near the rim of the valve head.
