I saw SLP too. I got em on mine. Don't listen to people saying they are crap. They are most definitely not. True, longtubes will give a better gain, but SLP shorties are not crap by any means. Picked up my top end a good deal. It was a noticeable gain. Was a little trouble to install, but other than that, they are a great set of headers.

Yep TPIS makes a great header. I have their mid-lengths. I've had them on my car for almost two years without any problems. So here's another vote for TPIS.

Another vote here for the SLP's. With just the headers and the stock y-pipe with cats i picked up 2 tenths, now that i have an offroad pipe im pretty sure i probably picked up another .2.

Best part is, when its time for emisions, all i have to do is swap out the y-pipe and i am good to go.

i personally like the edel's over all of those...
thats because they worked well in my car...

ive owned a set of: edel, bbk, rk sport, as&m and pacesetters...

now: the as&m are not shorties, i'd say go for them. even MAC's are good.

but out of your list, i like the edel's...

I went with macs, mainly because I couldnt go to LT's. I should have them installed by the end of this coming weekend, so If you still haevnt made a decision ill let you know what i think about plug access, performance, looks, etc etc

Actually i'll take some pictures of how they look and whatnot if youd like.

I am using the SLP headers and they are def. not crap. I have not had problems with them and can get to the plugs fine. As far as saving money I don't think the SLPs will do they that. Mine were around $700 for the coated ones and the installation kit.

I have SLP and love em. If I could do it again I would save up for AS&M. Mids and seen better # from them. For long tube I would go with TPIS.

I ordered mine straight form jet hot, coated and everything for 561... pretty good that includes shipping. Theyre like 420 or something over at ls1speed.com. Im sure you could find them in alot of other places if you just look around a bit
