Why won't IDLER GEAR TIMING SET work on Knock Sensor equiped cars?

I was just wondering because I'd love to run this setup on my lt1. I have the LT4 knock module and I guess If it will only work with a tune I could do that two but what's the prob with using it? False knock?

But can't I tune out the false knock and use an electric water pump instead of the drive. The knock module can be disarmed right?

The knock sensor is a microphone listening to the engine. The gear drive will produce a lot of mechanical noise that will be picked up by the knock sensor and read as knock. It's false knock but the computer can't tell the difference and therefore will set back your timing. You can't tune it out; you can defeat the knock sensor but you run the risk of damaging your engine when you have true knock.

Well if you have true knock anyways your motor will probably be screwed anyways. I heard of someone running it before.
