Arrow why is my y-pipe rotting out from under my car?

After running my AC i have noticed that sizzling sound when water hits very hot objects, under my car when i shut it off. what has been happening is water from something?? has completely rusted my y-pipe. this is a jethot coated SLP stainless y-pipe btw. i am suspecting the water is condensation from running the AC but i cant trace it to anywhere and it happens to a friend of mines car as well which would rule out an actual leak on in car. i believe this has also ruined a few O2 sensors in the process since its directly under this leak but more importantly its destroying my y-pipe. is this happening to anybody else?? and where the hell is this water coming from??

Ya' got me. I don't see how a little bit of water is going to rot out a stainless steel pipe.

i shoulda clarified that. its not rotting the metal OUT.. its causing the coating to flake off leaving what appears to be rusted metal. so far its not actually rotted thru.
