I thoughtr they were too long but they work great!
I got the ones spicificly ofr the LT-1 and had about 8 inches of slack on each one.

I am glad they have slack.
I am using MSD 8.5s as well and I love em.
the extra wire allowed me to route them custom without OVC and I cannot find anything wrong with them yet.
Taylor may be good, I don,t know but I refuse to build my own wires that gets me so frustrated I want to kill something.

I had my MSD wires for a year and they were horrible. Like 5 of them cracked.

I had Taylors on my previous mustang and they only lasted about a year.

I am now running Accel 300+ wires with no problems.

Cool

Been running msd's here.Had to replace the coil wire after almost a year.I run stock coil wire and msd's so far,so good.Really though, unless you run headers,I would stay stock. You can buy silicone sleeves to border the headers(they are the boot sleeves sold everywhere, just slice them down the middle, and slide them over the plug wires where they hit the metal, And use die-electric greese inside them,Works for me.My02)Accel extreem 9000 wires===they should be sued. What a piece of work.(Couldn't keep that coil wire on if my life depended on it.)

I've had mixed feelings about MSD wires....i currently have a set on my car now (the 2nd one in a year and 1/2) and will say this, if near to much direct header heat, they will burn/crack fairly easliy, however route them properly and as best u can and i believe they'll last! BTW i never knew the made OVC MSD wires for our cars?!??!?!?!? are they custom fitted already or r they like Taylor wires where u gotta cut them urself????? any body got a part no.????????????

Thanks
