Ok someone fill me in on this one. I never heard of this mod. Is this like the shift firmness that you can select with the HPP? Or is it something else?

It is a built in performnace shifter, do a search and you will be able to find wiring diagrams for it. It is a nce tranny mod and it is easy to, or is suppose to be easy.

you need to take off the pass. side kick panel ( it runs parallel with the door 4 or 5 screws hold it in), remove the cigarette lighter box so you can splice into the wires in it, and drill holes to mount switch and led, and thats pretty much all you have to take apart. i would remember to remove the neg. battery cable, i blew a fuse yesterday when i forgot to, and had to steal one out of another car.

i used a flathead screwdriver to pry up under there (the seam btw the box itself and the main console) and tapped it with a hammer, eventually the box just popped out, but all six mounting screws broke (theyre plastic retainers or something...no big deal). the screw that goes in the middle of the box behind the tapes provides enuf support once you remount the box so dont worry about the screws. there may be an easier way to remove the box tho, ask shoebox...but if all else fails...
