Don't mind the smoke it's because its 18 degree's outside and the car only ran for about 5 min. Don't worry its not burnt oil or a blown headgasket.

Not bad for a stock LT1 with intake and Loudmouth exhaust with 160,000 miles.

Not sure what the point of this video is or how it proves anything about lt1's vs ls1's.

I think with the money you saved buying an lt1 you could take some filming classes.

There are aftermarket intakes and SLP LMs for the LS1s also.

I think he is getting at the sound of an iron block over the sound of an aluminum block... but this is still pretty pointless.

Uhh... my lt1 with the lm sounded way better than that.... and if youre choosing an lt1 over an ls1 because of that sound something is wrong

Yes... still needs suspension work and I'm working on wiring the kit back up now, but as it sits it goes 12.4xx's all day.

of all the engines i have heard i do not think i could tell the difference by the sound to tell if it was all aluminum rather than cast iron....that should definately not be an audible difference.
pointless is very true.....

I can point out the differences easily. But either way LM sounds like *** on anything... IMHO.
