Why does the LT1 sound better then the LS1

The LT1 motor just sounds deeper & throatier. They really rumble whereas LS1's sound kinda flat to me IMO...
But I have heard a few LS1's that sounded better to me than some other LT1's I've heard. The type of exhaust set-up you run will play a large role in this although one motor clearly has more bass than the other...
BTW, I personally think the Borla or SLP LM both sound like crap on either motor.
