Well a search would more than likely answer your question

But one reason is your rpms will be pretty high while crusing.

As long as you don,t mind the trade off of higher engine RPMs and a less driveable car then go ahead.
I debated this myself when it came time for gears but since I like to drive my car around sometimes (not just at the strip) I made a more conservative choice and went 3.73s I also went with a little less stall than alot of the guys on here but I have not regretted it yet.

I have 4.10's and I tac 2300 cruising @ 75mph. It's not too bad. Still can get like 24-26mpg on the highway too.

Oh, I had a holeshot 3000 Torqe converter in it and it was UNBELIEVABLE! But the TC ate 3 tranny's 2-3 gears in a year, so now I have a GM performance Parts Tranny with an 1800 TQ

well I had them with an A4 and I really liked them, they really moved the car off the line quick. Some guys that only run the 1/8 mile really like these gears also. Running in the quarter you will run into overdrive at the end. Remember gears do multiply torque, but they are used to pull you into a given powerband range, such as with very large cams. My only beef with them in an A4 is on the expressway you must keep your speed down to 70-75 mph ortherwise your rpms are really racin and its hard to hear the stereo. I got use to not going fast, but for some it just won't do. I think it was something like 2600-2800 rpm at 70 use one of those calculators on www.fbody.com to see exactly. If you really don't mind the drawbacks than get them

2300RPM's @75 MPH with a 6 speed yes but with a auto no way. Thats about what my 3.23's are.

I put 3.73s in mine and I feel I should have went with the 4.10s. I do allot of 1/8th mile racing and the car is so loud at all RPMs it wouldn't really matter. I don't cruise town in that car allot anymore though, I set off too many car alarms from the vibration and **** people off.
I think it really depends on what you mainly use the car for, but I think 4.10s would be very sreetable.

I have thought about this many times, but I decided I will go with 3.73s when the time comes. I will also be running a 3500 stall

It want gas mileage about like 10 mpg then I would pass on the 410s. I wish I had never gotten the 3.73s since I dont race much anymore. I run about 3 grand at 80 mph. The car will still go about 140-150 if you care about that. I took it up to 135 and it could still stretch its legs. 4.10s is too low for street car, you will hate them. Just my opinion. -Michael

For an all out NA car I'd go with 4.10's. Most people opt for the 3.73's in an NA application. I have 3.42's but my car sees massive doses of NX.
