It doesn't matter how you get the CFM either it can be a 105mm TB or a 4bbl 2000cfm TB and it will still work the same... the issue usually comes down to other things if it has bad throttle response, as I said you have to be smart enough to know what those things are.

That intake is now running on a 454 alcohol SB in Georgia.
I tried one 4 hole and the guy who built the intake kept telling me "it would run better with two" soooo I had him build a top and got another one from Ron and hooked it up. Sure enough it ran quicker.
With 2 Mono blade's it might have had problems but it didn't have with the 4 holer's.

O BTW it was mechanical fuel injection something like Ron's but home built.
This happened a bunch of years ago and since have learned why.

Hey Brett is there a Way to mill down the Super vic, I looked on the underside of my ws6 hood today and I figured out some spots that could be cut down for clearance, I think someone on this site used the Super vic under a SS hood with a 100 degree and 90MM TB and cleared it by about 1/8 inch. I think it was Jared (altjar car). Squinn also mentioned that the Victor E wold fit under a STOCK TA or Z28 hood, So I am hoping the Super Vic will fit Under a ws6 hood. Brett let me know your opnion on this as well. I believe Solid motor mounts would be needed, lol.

Yea the motor Torques and hits the hood cracking it to hell that would suck.

Not too much you can mill down on the Super Vic... You would take the radius out of the pleanum to runner entry and screw that up. You can mill the elbow it will just take a lot of passes to take that much off of it. I cut some of it off the top of the elbow to help with clearance there as well.

That'd be Superior Airflow

They use to make a nice inexpensive composite plastic model but not anymore as these are mostly used by the boostie-boys. With a nice low profile throttle body, you could probably get one on there. Although, I came to the conclusion after seeing a few milled-elbow setups that the elbow is going to get you a little more clearance.

does the C5 85mm MAF have the same connector as our stock MAF?
This will work? or what is there to be done to make this MAF work??

Alot of guys are running the Z06 MAF with mixed results. Do a search and I'm sure you'll find more info on that swap.

I don't know if you guys now this or not but the good ole LS1 boys got a Victor JR EFI intake now. Also I was looking on LS1tech.com and I found this guy making a custom setup with an ELBOW to fit under his stock hood. Check it out.
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=282822
http://www.ls1tech.com/forums/attach...chmentid=25876

He can make it work with any size TB and I believe the Height of the LS1 EFI JR intake is 4.95 inches tall,
Super Vic is 5.50
Victor E and Victor JR. 4.58

What do you guys think of this elbow, it looks to be a better setup and is not as tall either. Give me your opinions

Remember his block height and hood clearance are different as well.

I've seen that a little while ago.

So what are everyone's thoughts on the Elbow that mindgame has posted? Seems there would be more room for clearance. Or is the 100* the way to go and pray that it fits?

Best way is a 4 hole air valve right on the Super Victor.

Hey Brett how much difference is the block height between the LS1 and LT1, Remember I have a LS1 WS6 front clip on my car. It just appears that the LS1 boys Elbow doesn't go up as high making more room than the standard Wilson that everyone is using.

You should be ok then. Gotta remember that the elbow goes right under the cowel, and is basically like putting a elbow on top of the fins of the stock intake.

Hey brett what do you mean by saying its basically like putting a elbow on top of the fins of the stock intake?

From the pics it looks like it is rubbing the wiper cowl a little, I figured some cutting Back of the wiper cowl would have be be done a little in that spot, but hood clearence with the Super Vic this may be the elbow I need.
