stock at 117mph? it took me a 160 shot to go 118 on stock heads and cam...

take some pics of that motor.. FWIW, how does it idle?

 

Just listen to the idle. It should be pretty obvious where
you stand regarding a cam. Unless you have no clue what
a lopey V-8 sounds like.

the idle sound that it makes is not fast it seems slow but u could hear it laud bun bun bun bun bun , man i cant xplain, il take a pic of the engine as soon as i get a digital cam and posted here so u guys see what im talking about.

 

so there is a lope to it? the tone is not just one plain sound? if it lopes u have a cam!

 

or.....you do have heads/cam and cant drive for sh*t, that would explain teh low time. =) and high mph.

obviously this guy is full of or there is more to that ta than meets the eye. I know a guy with a 383 stroker, ported heads, cam, six speed that runs 13.0 at 119 with 2.7 60 ft. That works out to like mid to low 11s with the car actually hooking up. Lets see the dudes 60 ft. then it will be easier to tell what is going on with that car. Unless you are a complete idiot, you can tell if your car is built or not, regardless of not knowing what it has done to it. Usually the lope gives it away
