89k and mine has survived two bad waterpumps. The last waterpump went out @ 78k. I jusy changed it a couple days ago, now she is hopefully ready for another 89k.

Replaced mine at 160K. Car still ran, but missed as bit. Carbon button was gone, and rotor was completely worn off where it touched the button. Bearings were shot. No signs of moisture damage, even though the opti "died" a few times from external water. Nothing a shot of contact cleaner wouldn't fix.

Opti's are definately a wear item, 100k is a more reasonable milage to replace them.

Just turned over 94k and I believe it is now taking a crap on me. Won't start in rain and such and just died on me last night coming home. Would not start back up. Try it before I leave for work this morning. 3rd try she starts. WTF?! The 1st two tries she turned over, but stalled a few seconds later.

Also the car will stumble if I drive thru a fairly large puddle

If you have 100k I think its good insurance to replace it. Because when it acts up the car wont start.
