Wow, I thought mine was good at 27. That was with heads/cam and 30# injectors though.

I used to get killer mileage.

When mine was stock I drove 725 miles (Texas) and averaged 32 so I think it very well may get that. I had 2.73 gears and ALL stock.

I've gotten 30+ driving from Wisconsin to Florida. Drove 1,500 miles for less than $150 at $3.00+/gallon. That's with the heads/cam and a car full of crap....I even smoked a C5 in Tennessee

Yes, I did. Why would we make it up?

If you don't know how to do it, reset the trip. Go on a trip, when you get low, stop and fill up. Now take how many miles you put on the car, and divide it by the number of gallons you put in.

Mine was like 26.7 MPG. I got like 240 some odd miles on 9 gallons of gas.

Why is it so unbelievable with the 6th gear these cars have? Esp. cruising at like 65-70 MPH. The car is at or under 2k RPM's.

well, anyone with auto is out. 6th gear lets you cruise down the highway doing 80mph at 2000 rpm's. That was what mine did stock. Now after 3:73's it does 75 mph at 2000rpm's in 6th.
