Who coats LS1speed.com's headers?

Hey guys,
I want to order mac shorties from Speed Inc and I'm also thinking of opting for their optional ceramic coating. I e-mailed them 2 days ago and have yet to get a response but was wondering who coats their headers for them? Is it Jet-hot? Has anyone bought headers from speed Inc with their ceramic coating and if so, are you happy with it??? Please help guys, I'm getting anxious to order!

I asked Jon at LS1 speed(Speed Inc.) and he told me it's a local company called LOKO. I decided that instead of getting MACS I'm going to buy from Chris at Jet-hot. He told me that I could get Hooker 1 5/8" shorties with y-pipe, fully ceramic coated with their sterling finish, shipped to Canada for $520! To me, that seems like a great deal as that means the headers are around $480 coated with a fully coated y-pipe before shipping! I'm the going to get a muffler shop to construct an off-road pipe.
What do you think and what gaskets should I get for the Headers?

I think hookers are POS's considering you have to cut them up just to be able to get them to flow. I would just go with the mac's or i would just wait a little bit and find some for sale in the forum. I paid 350 for mine coated used and they do the job and don't look to bad.

Well out of cai, catback and headers it was the only sotp diff. i could feel. Headers are a must. As soon as i rompted on it the first time i had a smile ear to ear. i haven't been to the track so i don't have any idea. I would expect 20rwhp if you have cai, and catback.

The Hookers may not be the best flowing headers but for fully Jet-Hot coated headers and y-pipe, I think they're the best deal. My $.02.
Like I mentioned before, GMhightechperformance installed Hooker shorties, a high flow cat, and corsa cat-back and gained approximately 17 RWHP and 11lb-ft of torque. This is through an a4 (with approx 80,000miles?) and of course they're running a cat so you'd probably see more with an off-road pipe.

Yes it is LO-KO. They JUST did my powdercoated rims. They do the BEST work, thus why they tend to be a little busy b/c all the shops use them in my area.

I just received my mac coated headers from them. I haven’t seen them yet b/c they are at my house and I am at college. I am going home to install them this weekend. The only thing that I don’t like about Speed Inc. is that they are slower than $h^*. It took about a week longer than what they said it would on my headers and didn’t tell me until I emailed them. I also ordered some Taylor spark plug wires from them on March 3, 2003 and I STILL have NOT got them. Although they said that they have no control over getting them from Taylor (apparently Taylor was out or something) they should still get on them to get them to me. I can’t believe that it’s almost been a month since I ordered them.
