White Smoke after timing chain install???

White Smoke after timing chain install???

I got a new distributor and had them change the timing chain and the sprockets whiile they were down there, now the car shoots white smoke out of the exhaust when i floor it and it shifts. why is this, can anything they done have caused this?? Thanks

did you align everything properly when changing timing chain? Any black smoke? It's either misaligned timing chain or you put distributor in wrong way

I didnt install it, some hack shop here in Joliet did.

If the car sat for a while it prolly had some condensation in the exhaust which would cause the white smoke..if it does it all the time thats another story..

It sat for 7-8 weeks, is that enough time to cause this?
