Where to put o2 sensors

I am doing an engine swap soon and I'm putting a 97 into my 95. I am going to have LT's with 2 cats. In the LT's collectors are two holes for the o2 sensors(one hole on each collector). With my obd1 pcm will 2 sensors work there fine? Or is there another place they need to go? Thanks,
JOHN

They will be fine in the collectors.
I have my O2s in the pipe immediatly after the collector and mine works fine.

That is good to here! All of the small stuff that needs to get taken care of to put this engine in is a p.i.t.a. How long of extenders will I need from there?

the holes that I have are round. What kind of sensors should I buy and where to get them? Thanks.

I spliced in about 2 feet of wire.
Your taliking about the O2 bungs being round I assume, I bought some Bosch O2s from autozone and they seem to work fine. Alot of guys reccomend AC Delco O2s.

My bungs are in the collectors too. Anywhere in that area is fine for the O2s to be I would assume. I heard bad things about the Bosch O2s. For that stuff I try to stay AC Delco anyway but I'm sure Bosch is fine. Whichever O2 sensors are cheaper.
