I have an MSD digital 6, and was wondering where I could mount it. I just need some ideas of where to mount it and if possible, any pics too. Thanks guys, Tom

 

near the fuse box or right nex to the hole the cold air intake goes in.

 

That's where I got mine, where the old airbox was by the fuse box.

 

yeah i mounted mine on the driver's side strut tower right behind the fuse relay box, vey clean install

 

Mounted mine on strut tower behind fuse box also. Fit perfect, wires are nice and close to harness at coil/ECM area, and no problems for several years now.

I just finished installing my Digital 6 behind the fuse box/on the strut tower. Ran into a problem with the rubber mounts causing the box to sit up too high--it's causing my hood to buckle a little. Is everyone else using the mounts? When mounting my box, I put it as far right toward the fender that I could. Also, has anyone had a problem getting the box wet from rain in this location?

 

mine is mounted on the fire wall about directly behind the right side cylinder head & up a little makes for a really clean install plus hard to see unless you look back there for it

 

Here is what i done. The slope behind the fuse box i cut with a zizwheel knocked its down a few inches, kind of made the slope flat, welded in some metal, set the msd in my newly custom formed box. worked nicly. wish i had some pics for ya.

 

I just drilled 2 holes diagonally from each other and ran some self-tapping bolts into them and I didnt use the rubber mounts since they caused it to sit to tall...I dont think it will cause any issues with vibrations cause I have it fairly secure...I have to slowly put the hood down so I dont hit the box also...
