Where to Mount a MSD 6A box on a 1997 LT1

Hello everyone, i am new to this forum!


My question is: Where is the best place to mount the 6A box?

Pictures would be awesome!!

PS: It is a 1997 Firebird Formula

Not sure about z28 setup, but with my SS, i mounted it just behind the D side head light. Might have to move fuse box. My location also provides cooling of MSD.

I have mine between the fuse box and where the fuel lines come out of the fender.

There have been lots of threads asking the same question. You might try a search. That's the first thing a person new to the forum should get acquainted with.

thank you for the advice!

i have actually done a little bit of searching on several forums (F-body/FireBirdNation/CamaroForums/CamaroZ28 and even MSD-Forums) and haven't exactly found a good spot for my exact application.

But i think i will go with the "under the fuel lines" position. i will just need to lengthen the power lines w/ higher guage wire.
