Exclamation where to get a crank socket for LT1?

I am looking to get a crank socket to turn the LT1 crank while I am testing clearances, and to set the rockers for the initial startup, while the motor is out of course. Can you use any one, or is there a special socket for our cars? I now have a stroker crank, but should have the same snout as the stocker...
Thanks

If you put a key in the forward slot in the crank, you should be able to use a regular SBC crank socket. Without the added key, a crank socket is not going to work (LT1s don't have keyed hubs as stock).

Like shoebox said, you'll need to drop a key into the snout of the crank to make one work. A standard 3/16" key won't drop right in, I used a die grinder on a 3/16" key I picked up from the hardware store and tapered it until it would fit in snug in the keyway. I used this one from comp:

CCA-4793 ? The link you provided only brought up four things, and two of them were K and N products. So, I looked, and found that part number. Is that correct?
Thanks

I'm sorry, I didn't notice that Summit's site doesn't change the URL's as you click around, but yes, that's correct, cca-4793:
